East Bay Baby

A new Bay Area service called Earth Baby will pick up and compost your child’s dirty diapers for a tidy $85 per month (this includes the cost of the biodegradable diapers).  Although I applaud this commitment to recycling, I have to wonder what the after-market is for the compost produced.   Do the parents get regular compost deliveries in addition to diaper pickups?  Is it really legal to fertilize crops with human waste, even adorable human baby waste?
