Thrift Town stores are not only cheaper than most Salvation Army and Goodwill stores, they are also larger and better organized. Also, compared to other thrift stores, the selection turns over very quickly. I am routinely able to find nice clothing for my kids for between 99¢ and $1.99 per item, and snag pristine board books for 49¢ apiece. There are locations in El Sobrante, Fremont, and San Leandro.
