Entrance to all 392 National Parks is free during National Park Week, April 17-25! Bay Area On The Cheap has a roundup of national parks in the Bay Area. I know Aletheia expressed her preference for the Oakland Zoo in her previous blog post, but I still prefer the San Francisco Zoo.  Sure, I’ve never actually visited the Oakland Zoo, but I fail to see how that’s relevant.  And besides, the penguin habitat at the SF Zoo has always been my favorite exhibit.  Penguins!
